سورة 10 يونس, آية 98
-
فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّا آمَنُوا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
الترجمة وفقا للكلمات
- فَلَوْلَا
- So why not
- كَانَتْ
- was
- قَرْيَةٌ
- any town
- ءَامَنَتْ
- that believed,
- فَنَفَعَهَآ
- and benefited it
- إِيمَٰنُهَآ
- its faith,
- إِلَّا
- except
- قَوْمَ
- the people
- يُونُسَ
- (of) Yunus?
- لَمَّآ
- When
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- they believed,
- كَشَفْنَا
- We removed
- عَنْهُمْ
- from them
- عَذَابَ
- (the) punishment
- ٱلْخِزْىِ
- (of) the disgrace
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- of the world
- وَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ
- and We granted them enjoyment
- إِلَىٰ
- for
- حِينٍ
- a time.
Then has there not been a (single) city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.
