سورة 17 الإسراء, آية 16
-
وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نُهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُوا فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا
الترجمة وفقا للكلمات
- وَإِذَآ
- And when
- أَرَدْنَآ
- We intend
- أَن
- that
- نُّهْلِكَ
- We destroy
- قَرْيَةً
- a town,
- أَمَرْنَا
- We order
- مُتْرَفِيهَا
- its wealthy people
- فَفَسَقُوا۟
- but they defiantly disobey
- فِيهَا
- therein;
- فَحَقَّ
- so (is) proved true
- عَلَيْهَا
- against it
- ٱلْقَوْلُ
- the word,
- فَدَمَّرْنَٰهَا
- and We destroy it
- تَدْمِيرًا
- (with) destruction.
And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with (complete) destruction.
