سورة 2 البقرة, آية 206

1. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالْإِثْمِ ۚ فَحَسْبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ

   الترجمة وفقا للكلمات

   وَإِذَا

   And when

   قِيلَ

   it is said

   لَهُ

   to him

   ٱتَّقِ

   "Fear

   ٱللَّهَ

   Allah,"

   أَخَذَتْهُ

   takes him

   ٱلْعِزَّةُ

   (his) pride

   بِٱلْإِثْمِ

   to [the] sins.

   فَحَسْبُهُۥ

   Then enough for him

   جَهَنَّمُ

   (is) Hell -

   وَلَبِئْسَ

   [and] surely an evil

   ٱلْمِهَادُ

   [the] resting-place.

   And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.
