سورة 2 البقرة, آية 226

1. لِلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ ۖ فَإِنْ فَاءُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

   لِّلَّذِينَ

   For those who

   يُؤْلُونَ

   swear (off)

   مِن

   from

   نِّسَآئِهِمْ

   their wives

   تَرَبُّصُ

   (is a) waiting (of)

   أَرْبَعَةِ

   four

   أَشْهُرٍ

   months,

   فَإِن

   then if

   فَآءُو

   they return -

   فَإِنَّ

   then indeed,

   ٱللَّهَ

   Allah

   غَفُورٌ

   (is) Oft-Forgiving,

   رَّحِيمٌ

   Most Merciful.

   For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return (to normal relations) - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
