سورة 40 غافر, آية 83
-
فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرِحُوا بِمَا عِنْدَهُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
الترجمة وفقا للكلمات
- فَلَمَّا
- Then when
- جَآءَتْهُمْ
- came to them
- رُسُلُهُم
- their Messengers
- بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
- with clear proofs
- فَرِحُوا۟
- they rejoiced
- بِمَا
- in what
- عِندَهُم
- they had
- مِّنَ
- of
- ٱلْعِلْمِ
- the knowledge,
- وَحَاقَ
- and enveloped
- بِهِم
- them
- مَّا
- what
- كَانُوا۟
- they used to
- بِهِۦ
- [at it]
- يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
- mock.
And when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they (merely) rejoiced in what they had of knowledge, but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
40:83
