1. كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ

   No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know.

   70:39

2. أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍ

   Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure?

   70:38

3. عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ

   (To sit) on (your) right and (your) left in separate groups?

   70:37

4. فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ

   So what is (the matter) with those who disbelieve, hastening (from) before you, (O Muhammad),

   70:36

5. أُولَٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَ

   They will be in gardens, honored.

   70:35

6. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

   And those who (carefully) maintain their prayer:

   70:34

7. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ

   And those who are in their testimonies upright

   70:33

8. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ

   And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive

   70:32

9. فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ

   But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors -

   70:31

10. إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ

    Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -

    70:30

11. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ

    And those who guard their private parts

    70:29

12. إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ

    Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe -

    70:28

13. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَ

    And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord -

    70:27

14. وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

    And those who believe in the Day of Recompense

    70:26

15. لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ

    For the petitioner and the deprived -

    70:25

16. وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ

    And those within whose wealth is a known right

    70:24

17. الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ

    Those who are constant in their prayer

    70:23

18. إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ

    Except the observers of prayer -

    70:22

19. وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا

    And when good touches him, withholding (of it),

    70:21

20. إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا

    When evil touches him, impatient,

    70:20

21. إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا

    Indeed, mankind was created anxious:

    70:19

22. وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰ

    And collected (wealth) and hoarded.

    70:18

23. تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

    It invites he who turned his back (on truth) and went away (from obedience)

    70:17

24. نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوَىٰ

    A remover of exteriors.

    70:16

25. كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ

    No! Indeed, it is the Flame (of Hell),

    70:15

26. وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنْجِيهِ

    And whoever is on earth entirely (so) then it could save him.

    70:14

27. وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ

    And his nearest kindred who shelter him

    70:13

28. وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ

    And his wife and his brother

    70:12

29. يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ

    They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children

    70:11
